Change of management in Gas 2 Feed

Smiljana Divjak, who has served as CEO of both the affiliated companies Gas2Feed and Ecofishcircle, has made a personal decision to step down this summer. Moving forward, we are significantly strengthening the Gas2Feed team with Ole Jørgen Marvik as new full-time CEO and Ørjan Fiskaa as CFO.

Smiljana, joined Gas2Feed in May 2021 as CFO and took over as CEO in August 2023. She has achieved important milestones, including establishing a large pilot reactor, engineering design of the subsequent industrial production plant and related business partnerships. She has been instrumental in building the companies organization and preparing for the commercial phase. Smiljana will continue to support Gas2Feed as board director.

As new CEO, Ole Jørgen Marvik brings a wealth of experience from entrepreneurship, business strategy and public industry policies. Marvik is Ph.D. in molecular biology and combines a strong academic background with a master's degree from the Norwegian Business School (BI). As founder and former CEO of Affitech, a technology pioneer in antibody-based therapies, and initiator of several other biotech companies, gives him a deep understanding of both scientific innovation and strategic leadership. Throughout his career, Marvik has served as Special Advisor to Innovation Norway and in several public committees including Norwegian biotech and bioeconomy strategies. Internationally, Marvik has been board member EuropaBio and recently instrumental in a pivotal work by the OECD on carbon management.

In his new position at Gas2Feed, Marvik will leverage his extensive expertise and strong business network to prepare Gas2Feed for the commercial phase. Ørjan Fiskaa has a broad financial background, with experience in everything from financial analysis, asset valuation, to financial management and business development in multiple sectors. As the new CFO of Gas2Feed, the company will benefit from his extensive experience in financial strategy and capital raising from growth companies in the oil and gas sector. Fiskaa will play a crucial role in ensuring a solid financial foundation for the company's commercial phase and international expansion.
